I have absolutely loved my four years at Cornell and cannot believe I am already about to graduate.  You will be challenged and at times the workload might seem unmanageable but you figure out away to get everything done and have some fun too.  As others have commented, you will not have your handheld at all.  If you never want to go to class or study no one will stop you and these choices will come back to bite so you need to be independent and self-motivated.  But if you reach out to your professors most will be very helpful.  What makes Cornell worth it is the doors it will open: the on campus recruiting is incredible, alumni connections, getting into good grad schools, and so on.  People say it doesn't matter where you do your undergrad, which may be true for some professions, but being at a top tier school has many advantages if you want to get into a competitive field (ex: finance, consulting, med school, law school, etc) because it gets your foot in the door.  Besides career benefits, the campus is beautiful, Ithaca has its charms, and there are many awesome people here once you find your niche.
