SUICIDE @Hamilton, not worth it; not an Ivy, not Division 1 sports, not a PhD feeder, and not a banking/Wall Street feeder like Colgate.

Not as preppy, lax Bro douche as Colgate (which tries to pretend otherwise,got accepted there as well, but read the StudentsReviews- stating don't take the place of someone unless you party, but at least they get their grads jobs with $$), whereas Ham doesn't.

Ham appears more intellectual than Colgate, campus as beautiful in a different way which is why I chose Ham over Colgate and Bates.

But Ham has its own bro culture (and its sad Dartmouth imitation frats) albeit Division 3, without whatever benefits come with the jock ( joke) culture in a Division 3 school and without the PhD allure of other truly intellectual Lacs, and without the Colgate corporate feeder, but it seems to have more suicides and for what? Rep not that stellar and no one outside the LAC geeks and college counselors know Hamilton.

Not worth it. Especially, if you read the Ham student paper - on the suicides and that the kids didn't blink. Wow, how sick is that. Maybe the Ham streaking takes their mind off of it or they don't care. I am transferring to Pomona a true intellectual LAC, without a deluded Division 3 lax /frat bro douche culture and where the students give a shit and students go on for PhDs

Great review of HC! I wanna come here, get virtue shamed, write an honor's thesis renouncing my white identity, and then kill myself when I can't get a job and realize that all the social-justice activists on campus have landed plum gigs on Wall Street. I've got my Hamilton future all mapped out!
