Hartwick is a small school.  If your ok with almost knowing all the people in your dorm half way throught your freshman year then its a cool school.  Everybody is relativly upper middle class.  Its big drinking school.  Getting into bars is not hard but it sucks when the RA's bust you for drinking in your room.  Drugs are around if thats your thing but plenty of kids stay away from them.  Personally if I wasnt playing lacrosse here I wouldnt like the school much.  It keeps you busy where if I wasnt playing I would be bored or straight up an alcoholic.  You need to be able to keep yourself busy and be able to make friends due to the lack of people here.  Education is good, but mostly overlooked.  Students tend to be lazy and more interested in partying on the weekends though party scene is limited to sports team's houses, and a few frats and sororities.  I have fun here but I am outgoing and into drinking and other substances.
