I matriculated at Iona in September 2008 and I have already decided to transfer to another college in January 2009. This college SUCKS!!! I have never met such a juvenile bunch of people - they are constantly setting the fire alarms off at all hours of the morning, breaking all the rules with regards to smoking and drinking. The academic side of Iona is also a JOKE. Most people decide to skip their lectures and head to New York City for a break. The professors could not care less. New Rochelle SUCKS - there is just bars, rundown shops and as a town - the community really hate the people who attend the college. I would suggest that you attend a college which is much more selective and offers much more value for your money. The academics are laughable and most of the freshman class have either dropped out or are in the process of transfering to another college. DON'T bother to apply unless you want to go to a college which has a reputation which is going down the plughole.
