I would have definitely attended a different college or university. I needed to attend a college close to home, and that is the reason I chose Iona. Iona is greatly lackng in student support servicesincluding: academic advisement, career development, and job search. Very few, if any, fortune 500 companies attend Iona's job recruitment fairs. There are nice staff at Iona, but in my opinion, Iona wasn't worth my large investment. Currently, all the new President cares about is buying real estate property and the basketball team, and that doesn't help Iona students and alums get jobs. Also there is a high employee turnover at Iona, many staff members leave, therefore, employees' needs are being neglected and so are the needs of so many students and families paying the big salaries for the President, his staff, and the Basketball Coach. Do research before you consider Iona. Also, Iona doesn't get a high college rating.
