Thanks for including research and ranking information on Iona College. I did read the articles in Money, yahoo, etc. After I complete my Fall, 2015, semester, I will be transferring out. I just don't feel like I am attending an academic college, and I'm not getting the real college experience at Iona. Iona is lacking college life, it lacks professionalism, a business structure, and the small-caring environment - they promote to students. Some of my core classes are over-crowded, the academic support center is cold and uncaring. Sometimes you get a tutor that cares, if you are lucky.

I visited my friends at other colleges, and just felt the college experience being on those campuses. No college or university will be perfect, but Iona, to me, is like high school prep school, or just a local high school, and I don't want to spend anymore of my parents money attending Iona, when I can get the same academic support at a community or state college - for a much much lower tuition price.

Iona's Administrators should care more about academics and not building dorms, and should care more about enhancing knowledge to prepare students for the world of work, instead of purchasing real estate. Students, like us, pay their big salaries, and to me, Iona couldn't compete with the college experience I witnessed visiting other campuses of higher education.

As mentioned numerous times on this board, Do your research and homework, and ask questions and ask to see results. Don't spend your money and take out loans to attend a college that won't give your the benefits and advantages you need to get into the real world of work in your chosen field. Until Iona puts students concerns as their number one priority, and not dorms, and real estate, I wouldn't recommend attending Iona, but please do your own homework.

Best of luck to all of you.
