I came to Marist, after being accepted. I expected to be accepted, as I had a 4.0 and a high SAT and ACT score. I made great friends and am a member of the crew team, and am looking forward to the experiences I will gain from an internship, which Marist helps a lot with. Although Poughkeepsie is not somewhere I'd want to wander around the streets, it still is in close proximity to New York City, which opens many opportunities, and has a beautiful campus right on the Hudson river.
