This school is okay if you are just coming to get a degree that requires certification (ie, teaching, physical therapy, etc.) so that you can get a job in that field.  The tuition is cheap for a private school, so you can get the degree that you want for a discount (but at the cost of quality).  I feel that although professors teach information and facts, I am never forced to open my mind and think critically and analytically, or in a new way.  In my opinion, a major goal for colleges should be to teach their students to think for themselves, and although I got that from my first university, I do not get that here.  In my program the students are so cutthroat that some are downright nasty.  Ironically, even though the students are so studious and competitive, most of them are also downright stupid.  I get the feeling that they let in almost everyone who applies.  I call it MCC (Mercy Community College..or Mercy Clown College if I'm feeling really bitter).  The administration is horrible and I am constantly chasing people down to make corrections.  They will mess up your billing, your loans, your class schedule, etc.  Nothing runs smoothly.  Ever.  It seems like everyone who works there is miserable.  The resources (especially in the library) are severely lacking, and many of the college employees are unprofessional.  I often find myself thinking “...is this school a joke?” I only came here to save money, and I could save a lot by staying here for a few more years.  However, I've decided I'd rather be in excessive educational debt than sacrifice quality and my sanity, so I'm transferring.
