Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I went to NAU as a freshman and lived in the dorms. My experience was alright. I thought the teachers were all good, and the classes were suprisingly small for a large state university. Living in the dorms was fun and allowed me to make many good friends, however the staff treated most of the students like they were babies instead of adults, the dorms offered very little freedom and I wouldnt reccomend them after freshman year. I Actually transfered after my fisrt semester, as well as most of my friends. Most went to state universities in larger cities, and were not generally happy with the city of Flagstaff. The town is small, and lacks anything to do of interest. Also the weather is terrible: its always windy, cloudy, and snowing for most of the year. I would say if you really enjoy drinking, the outdoors, and sitting around in dorm rooms all the time because there is nothing to do then this is the place for you!
