The number one bad thing about this university is the business college, do not get a degree there, they are there to take your money, and are just about to institute a 250 dollar fee for being in the college of business which is unjust, the Dean of Business thinks he's the hotshot, proclaiming that,

we dont pay for the paint or the floor of the college of business

after a student carried his bike into the Franke College of Business.

I'm sure of with all universities they will not allow you to take a course without the prerequisite(class before you take the advanced class) even if its going to slow your progression down they will not care they will say go take it at a community college. This does not hold true to transfer students they get to take the courses without the prequisites, and students that they basically screwed and had to make up for by bypassing them through something they would otherwise have to take such as bizblock.

Do not bother with getting a certificate from the college, its a complete waste and utterly useless! The business world will not care if you have a certificate in

human resource management

they will more likely question why you don't have a degree in it since its an easy degree to get.

Currently The Franke College of Business does not offer a Human Resource Management Degree nor online degrees for undergraduates, the online degrees have been discontinued, because they "cannot track the exams and whatnot" in otherwords its too much for them.

The college of business I remind you received 26 million dollars from an investor to which they have done nothing with.

Don't count on being overrided into a full course easily. The bureaucracy will find a way to not override you into the class, and please there inferior instructors.

NAU is a good school for English, Communications, even construction management, you will meet some great people here if your outgoing and will find it bearable if you are not social. However, I would not waste my time at the FCB its a waste of time and effort.

You want a better business college, choose ASU or U of A.
