Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I love NAU. I started out as a biology major and switched to Early Childhood Education. They make it super easy to change your major.NAU is like all schools in the ways some teachers are good and some aren't. Just look up your professors on rate my professor and you'll have some good teachers. The teachers are usually pretty good about meeting with students and replying to emails. If you don't want to meet with a professor you have so many other options too. You can go to free tutoring sessions or some classes have SIs that will go over the course material with you to help you prepare for tests. Every weekend NAU also plays free movies for students. They are actually good, recent movies. There are also free concerts twice a year and other concerts throughout the year that are $20. The students vote on it, so we had Macklemore, Wiz Khalifa, Easton Corbin, and Yellowcard. So even if there isn't much to do downtown other than eat there's usually a lot of stuff going on on campus. The people here in Flagstaff are generally really nice and a lot of the students are nice too. I advise living in the dorms first because you make such good friends living in the dorms. Overall, NAU is a good value.
