I adamantly disagree with two of these posers because they probable work for the school full time. Reslife and Student Activities do not listen to students when there is a legitimate concern voiced. Unfortunately I come from a home where domestic violence was the result of a close family member's mental illness. After two months in my apartment I was faced with the discovery that one of my suitemates was mentally unstable and had a drinking problem. This person also threatened two of my suitemates with a butcher knife and constantly walked around the apartment brandishing a baseball bat. Would you know that Student Health Service was unwilling to step in and even told me if the kid were to commit suicide it would be out of line for them to interlope. Ths councelor did not ask me if I had a similar occurance happen to me three years ago. SHE STORMED OUT WHILE WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION. No lie. How fucking unprofessional! Both my suitemate and I went to Katherine Rice, the fucking head of Student Life to voice our complaint which we believed were within reason. While explaining my reason for feeling worried I wound up reliving those frightening moments when I came home to find my house surrounded by emergency vehicles. I was very unaware that I am dealing with a form of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome! The only time any of these bureaucratic drones listen is when they hear of anything involving their salaries or a change in position. It turns out that after my psycho suitemate moved out this very same person was neither properly checked in or out. Face it, scooter, no matter where you go on this campus Pratt is still full of condescending assholes whose only concern is to be out of the office by 5 p.m.! Save yourself money and unwanted drama because you'll only wind up in therapy and in debt anyway!
