I came to RPI as an engineer it took me 3 years to realize that it was not something i want to do. Lucky for me i am interested in math therefore it was not a problem to change to something I enjoyed doing. The moral of this is unless you are very certain you want to be an engineer dont come here.

In regard to the math department it is great profs are very approachable and unlike engineering profs they are not arrogant.

Overall I had great time here and planning on attending grad school here as well.
