I agree with the review below mine - the Staten Island Campus is lacking compared to the queens campus. It's small and doesn't have as many opportunities as the queens campus does. SJU def. focuses on the queens campus as it's home base. All incoming freshman, graduate, and transfer students get brand new IBM laptops. They are not top of the line, but they are really really nice. the entire campus is wireless internet, or if you have a wireless network at home - your laptop will be wireless anywhere there is a network. Professors are good for the most part. Campus is nice, new field house just built. Parking was always horrible, it has improved though. The freshman center is a good idea - so the freshman do not feel overwhelmed. However, you won't get any real career guidance until your an upperclassman and you get to have your school dean as your guidance counselor. They really know what they are talking about and are on top of you for just about every little thing. It's really great. I love St. John's and I hope in the years to come they continue to improve on the great university they already are, and the university they have the potential to become.
