SVA or any art school for that matter is what you make of it. Overall i've noticed that the students are rather arrogant and this does not apply to the rich. However it does not mean they won't speak to you or aren't kind, they can just be a bit closeminded, and if some of them might even talk about you behind your back. But as long as you aren't being harassed who cares? the teachers vary but most teachers i've seen are pretty lackadaisical about learning and just care about paychecks. In SVA you just have to deal with the hand you are dealt with.
