The business program at Fordham University also has a lot of group projects for their students and it does not negatively impact the interview process. Perhaps the employers you interviewed don't know how current business programs are run. |
Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
Siena is a decent school. Some teachers care about their students while a few are on a power trip. The problem with the college is that one its a party school. You go to Siena to party not to learn. If you want to learn go somewhere else. The second problem is their focus on group projects. They want everything to be a group project to the point where all you do is meet with groups to do work. This ends up taking up all your time and you can't enjoy life. Also when interviewing after leaving school both employers I interviewed with looked down on Siena and their business program because of their group mentality. They question whether or not you did your work or if the group carried you. I got both jobs but was based off of past experience. I would say Siena more or less hurt my chances
