I've been here a year and a half and I just can't seem to like this place.  Sure Binghamton has a solid reputation and it's cheap, but that's about it.  The university and the student body are just absolutely miserable.  The surrounding area is trashy and dead.  Everyone is from Long Island.  There are a handful of out-of-state students.  International students?  Some Indian engineering students, that's it.

School spirit is abysmal because nobody wants to be here.  There is absolutely NOTHING to do in Binghamton whatsoever except get drunk at shitty frat parties.  The town is so boring and depressing.  The weather is also absolutely dreadful, the food is god-awful, and the university just doesn't care about the students at all.  In fact, nobody here really cares about this place.  Binghamton is seen by most of the students to be nothing more than a diploma factory and I don't know if I can take 2 1/2 more years of this.  But no I'm not well-off so I'm stuck at this shitty upstate hellhole.  I wish I could have gone somewhere like Manhattan College because that's like 20 minutes away from home and it's in a city.  And a lot warmer.  God I hate Binghamton so much.  Definitely a mistake for me.
