Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
The positives do outweigh the negatives. The faculty are for the most part absolutely outstanding in their availability. The food isn't so bad, the dorms are mostly not so bad either. Students are generally friendly but at some other times it definitely tends not to seem that way. Parties happen… sometimes too much so, but hey. People do go to bed way too early though. Good opportunities to really get involved and have faculty support you, if you pursue involvement. However, WAY too many people are apathetic about involvement and just sit around all the time, making it hard to organize campus activities with much success. I realize that's a problem at (almost) all colleges but it seems especially so here. Someone could get bored here, I suppose, but there's always stuff to do if you DO just get involved instead of the apathy route… City is nothing great, but does have attractions. Oh, the administration of the college—some of them are good people and try hard, but way too many of them are just putting in their time, or what have you, or have their priorities totally screwed around, and anyways, the administration as a whole has a very bad reputation in my mind because of them. Sports and Greeks get supported well; others, not especially so, usually.
