Mcad. Oh mcad.Super BrilliantArt & Design Department
Mcad. Oh mcad. I pay too much for this. My financial aid got messed up so I am actually paying 20,000 a semester just because I'm taking four classes and I have to pay extra to take four instead of five. My teachers play favorites and it's very obvious. The kids who are struggling dont get noticed and don't get help like the others. In everyone of my classes we have to self teach ourselourselves the programs. Don't I pay enough for you to teach me? (20,000 a semester) ive been here two months and I already can't wait to transfer schools.

I'm just going to start out by sayingBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I'm just going to start out by saying I have actually thought of leaving every semester, even went as far as applying to other schools, but I never leave. MCAD is seriously one a kind. I mean, all art schools have similarities but I think that being in the midwest, and having a unique art community is what sets us apart. Plus you have to really love art to go through our winters. I loved MCAD from the minute I stepped on campus for a tour. I worked my butt off to get into this school. I originally went for film but transferred over to the BS program for Marketing. It's been fantastic. Yes, it can be rough sometimes because we do work with real clients and with real clients comes restrictions on what we can and cannot do. But the experience is so worth going through all the hoops. I've met so many amazing people since I switched over. I've worked with non-profits, Allina clinic and hospitals, McNally Smith College of Music, MCAD itself, and I'm sure there will be many more to come in the future. It's a one of a kind program, don't miss out on it.

I attended MCAD part time via their PSEOBrightArt & Design Department
I attended MCAD part time via their PSEO program during my senior year in high school. The courses i took were challenging, but I feel my skills have grown immensely. The instructors were very helpful and would always find time to check in with every student and help them. My classmates were also very friendly and were there to help out with advice. During critiques the instructor and classmates are very helpful in giving constructive criticism and saying things they like and things that could be better on the piece. You're definitely not going to find your average group of college kids here but thats why I like it so much, because of the great diversity. MCAD is conveniently located next door to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts museum, and gives opportunities to grow artistically by allowing students to put art in its annual art sale, bringing visiting artists from all over the world to talk, holding work shops & open studios and much more. Over all this is a great school! I am so excited and proud to say that I'm attending MCAD fall of 2011. GO MCADIANS!! CLASS OF 2015!!
