I was exceptionally involved with community service in highJul 10 2017Political Science
I was exceptionally involved with community service in high school. This allowed me to serve as a youth member on multiple community board positions and speak with community leaders often. I excelled academically (which you need to for Davidson). Basically just find something you're very passionate about and get involved in it. When you're applying just demonstrate in your application that you are passionate about non-academic things (sports, community service ... etc). The admissions office wants well rounded students that will do more than just study all the time.

Just don't apply hereJan 10 2016Sociology
Just don't apply here. Go to Williams, Middlebury, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Duke etc., anywhere else that has better name recognition. Trust me, you are still a number here and professors have their favorites and if you are not one of them, it works against you.
Female

Don't bother. Run and run as fast as possible in the opposite direction away from this school.
Female
Be involved in a variety of activities in highJan 25 2010English
Be involved in a variety of activities in high school (but not too many) and hold leadership positions in them. Have a good GPA and prepare for standardized tests. Write risky, original essays that have been proof read. Most importantly- contact Admissions office at least once after submission of your application.
