It's the same as any other school, though MacMar 27 2012English
It's the same as any other school, though Mac probably places a larger emphasis on a good essay and good recs than do most schools. And if you have any displays of intolerance on your record, that might be a deal killer.

Just be yourselfAug 09 2011Geography and Geosciences
Just be yourself. Don't write what you think they'd wanna hear - how much you love to study, how you want to work hard, change the world. That crap is, well, crap and they know it. Write something that will make you stand out. I wrote a really silly essay and got in, so it's definitely encouraged to be individual and different. No one likes to read thousands of essays that talk about how great your are and how fabulous it would be to go to Mac. Just be yourself, and it'll work out.
