Nurse Assistant Training

Individuals who are assistant nurses follow orders from a registered nurse. They report back to the licensed nurse about a patient's condition. the Assistant nurses are always supervised by a licensed registered nurse.

Nurse assistants help provide some of the most basic care for patients. Nursing assistants typically work in nursing homes and hospitals. Nursing assistant jobs are in expected to steadily grow over the next 10 years.

To become a nursing assistant you must possess at least a high school diploma. You will need to complete a state approved program at a college in your area and pass your states competency exam

According to a report released by the bureau of labor statistics in may of 2013 related to the occupational employment and wages for nursing assistants, nursing assistants on average make $26k/year. The top 10% go on to make $36k/year. Industries hiring nursing assistants include nursing care facilities, general medical and surgical hospitals, home health care services, employment services and retirement facilities.
