Very amazing school.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Very amazing school. Great student body, and there's a decent balance of things to do. Not a huge party school, but we can turn up, and there's so many clubs and organizations around.

You have to be a certain type ofQuite BrightEconomics
You have to be a certain type of person to enjoy William & Mary. I was not one of them. This student population prides itself on being "openminded" and "quirky", but the problem is, everyone here is "quirky" in the exact same way. In other words, nobody is. They just think they are. They love to pat themselves on the back. I do too, but from the comfort of my dorm, away from everyone else. If I sound like a grumpy troll, I wasn't always this way. I have a feeling William & Mary had something to do with that. The teachers are pretty nice though.

I am a international student studying the WilliamQuite BrightEconomics
I am a international student studying the William and Mary - St Andrews Joint Degree program, majoring in Economics. Going to William and Mary has been one of the best decisions of my life. The academic atmosphere is very conductive to learning - professors generally demand excellence, and are keen to provide all the help you need to achieve that. Every professor has a few 'office hours' per week, when you can just drop in and ask questions and discuss the course. Professors are genuinely happy to see you go their office hours and often go the extra mile to help you. The student body is very cohesive, with a strong emphasis on helping each other. It is also incredibly diverse in terms of social class, race, academic interests, and down right quirkiness. It is a place where people are not afraid of being different. All in all, W&M is what a liberal arts college should be: opening, tolerant, friendly, and tight-knit. If you are open to new challenges and take initiatives, you will be rewarded handsomely in this university.
