My time at State has been more positive than not. I feel that I have gotten a good education, have made a number of very good friends, and have grown and matured a great deal. I am on track to graduate next spring, and will miss school and friends. The only minus to MSU is the "city" (and that is being generous) of Starkville. Let's face it, this is not a thrilling town. Very small, very slow, very limited social scene. Maybe it is because I am from Jackson, which is much, much larger and actually stays open at night. The only city of any size remotely close by is Tuscaloosa, over in Alabama, a little over an hour away. The U of A is there and there is a very active night life if you don't mind the drive.

All things considered, though, I would probably consider coming to MSU again. I think it has been good for me in many ways.
