Date: Jun 26 2005 Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time) W&M is a place of contrasts. You can be bored or you can be overwhelmed. You can be a study geek and fit in, or you can be a fratboy or jock and fit in. You can be either and be a loner, too. More than any other place I have been, it allows you to set your own path and "find your Tribe" of like-thinking students on campus. It is rife with things that suck, and yet has plentiful wondrous opportunities. In the end, it is a place where individuals make the difference. It is truly a community that invites one on one relationships between students, student-faculty, student-administrator, town-gown/tourist-gown. The measure of your desire to meet new people and engage them intellectually and sincerely will be the measure of your success.
