Date: Aug 05 2005 Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time) We all know what this school is known for. It’s cool to a point. But what about actually learning something and having an intellectual discussion? It almost never happened. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been laughed at in the workforce for where I went to college. It seems like most of my colleagues at Chico could give a flip about school or learning much. Most people are on their parent’s dime from the SF Bay or LA. Then there were those of us who went here because it was the closest school to our small Northern California town. (Grass Valley) The school carries no academic weight. It has made me work all the more harder to show I can do my job better then anyone else. I’m now planning on graduate school at an urban commuter school, Cal State Los Angeles. And who knows? There might be some more serious students there.
