Date: Aug 28 2005 Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time) Assualt, corruption, harrassment, greed. These four words sum up my experience at the J-school's graduate program. J-school graduates are supposed to be trained as leaders in the communications field. But if you're female, you're already at a disadvantage since the faculty is mostly male and all hold the view that a woman's place is either in the kitchen or the whorehouse and nowhere near the newsroom. How can they train anyone to be unbiased when they hold such obvious biases?Money for the program was spent on exotic, international family vacations by the faculty. Also, they'd falsely claim that expensive items from their office had been stolen (when they were the only ones with access to the office) so they could make up some of the difference for program money they spent somewhere else.FYI, if you're a member of any minority, they'll try to wash you out of the program faster than you can "discrimination." It's disgusting.
