The College of Business Administration (COBA) is very competitive. You are always involved in groupwork and projects. The faculty has real-world experience. The professors expect you to become a leader and will test you on your ability to do so. The senior experience project tests your knowledge unlike any other college. The accounting department drills you on everything and if you want good grades, you should work hard because never curve up but will drop you a grade. CSUSM COBA is a tough school. There are students who will drop from the school or not attempt to attend because they're too afraid to do the senior experience project or the foreign language requirement. There is also a 2500 word per class requirement that all of the professors enforce which also keeps certain students from attending.
