Regarding the comments of CSU being academically easy is a falisy. Each individual will have their own perspective on acadmeic rigor for their respective institution. The overwhelming response from students and graduates is that the academics are challenging, rigors and time consuming.

When I initially enrolled I thought the academics would not be too difficult, but I was surprised to find the opposite. Although the majority of the exams are open book (which is common at many schools) I found they were challenging and required quite a bit of research. The classes consisted of writing research papers (8-12 page average/APA guidelines), short essay assignments, discussion boards, presentations, unit exams and proctored final exams. I never had this much work required of me in the traditional "bricks & mortar" schools, so to say that CSU academics are easy is inaccurate.

Some of the classes are becoming even more interactive incorporating tools such as web lectures, live chats, interactive software, and audio and visual examples.

If you're not an independent thinker you won't be successful. This school is not about holding your hand throughout the process. The academic success falls upon the student. And don't think about plagarizing your work. CSU uses two kinds of software to check for plagarism. One internally among students and graduates. The other externally (Turnitin) to see if you copied anything from anywhere else. I can tell you that was never implemented at the traditional schools I've attended.

CSU continues to be a standard setter for distance learning. Many traditional schools have partnered with CSU to assist them in the development of their online programs.

Responses
commentYes it's a "falisy" that the "acadmeic" rigor is poor.

To bad CSU put all it's money in "plagarizing" (or is it "plagarism") software and not spell check software for it's employees.

Also you should note that this board is for reviews. It is not for responses to other reviews.
