Webster is the type of college that you really create your own experience at. For a private college, it is quite inexpensive and offers good financial aid packages.

I'm majoring in film here, and it's the type of program where you learn the tools and then apply them creatively. The faculty is, for the most part, awesome! Most of the adjuncts I've met were intelligent and treated their students like people rather than jobs. I even had a few professors teach classes anyway, even when they were losing money because the class was too small.

The classes are extremely small at Webster, which is the biggest plus in film production. We really get to know one-another and work together on projects. The professors always know their students by name and let us address them by first names (for the most part) even if they are technically are "doctors".

The social life at Webster is perfectly suited to someone like me who isn't into partying and just wants to have fun without alcohol. There are SO MANY clubs for such a small campus, including a Harry Potter fan club. There are also networking clubs for most majors.

The general education requirements are great too! You get tons of choices for most Gen Eds, everything from Russian to Psychology in Star Trek, and all of those classes have taught me a lot more than the 101-type classes I took in high school.
