Virginia Tech is a large university and as a downfall, many of the classes tend to be on the larger side. If you're a person who prefers a smaller learning environment with more one-on-one attention then VT might not be for you. I personally did not find the coursework in the psychology program to be too demanding and most of the professors are extremely interesting people and very accessible. I loved living in Blacksburg and the students are overall very friendly. You'll never find more outgoing, knowledgeable or fierce Football fans than you will at the Virginia Tech tailgates around Lane Stadium in the Fall. Virginia Tech doesn't just promote learning, it promotes a healthy and interactive lifestyle. I would definitely return.
