SSU is a great school. You get great professors, they're very friendly and personable, and are open to you whenever they're on campus. They encourage you to go see them in their offices and are all aboard for helping you out. It also has a very beautiful, scenic campus and a great atmosphere. There's always stuff to do, maybe not the stuff you like to do, but there's tons of stuff to do every week, check bulletin boards, they're totally filled up with crap to do. People are very friendly and nice. I feel very safe at night. Yes, there's lots of cops around, I feel good when the fat line of cop cars sitting infront of Police Services is out and about doing their job to make me feel safe. Everything is close by, and easily accessible, you don't have to take a 15 minute bus ride across campus to get to your class, maybe only like a 7 or 8 minute walk, unless you walk really really really slow, then it's like 10 or 12, so I would leave 10 minutes before your class starts, on average. The housing is great, they're 50/50 suites and apartments, not like 10 sq ft dorms, like you can actually live in them, without having to go to the library to do your homework. The only bad things about SSU are that: Alot of people drink and 420 it up, but I tend to steer clear of them and hang out with my 5 best buddies. College is what you make of it, if you're a loser who stays in his apartment every day when he gets home from class and has no social interaction with anyone, then of course he's going to be like "The social scene sucks at SSU." I mean, come on, give me a break. The people who complain about cops are the ones who know they're doing something wrong, and are trying as hard as they can not to get caught. So, go to SSU if you want a great school, a happy and pleasant environment, and great professors who you can become friends with and can ask questions about the course material whenever they're in.
