This is a great University, for all the reasons others have stated. It's very outdoorsy, the classes are interesting, and the work is applicable. Some programs give you more work than you need, but it's always survivable. Don't listen to anyone who is closedminded, and tells you that this University is only full of Cowboys, pickup trucks, tobacco, and bad music, because it's not like that at all. While we do have a great Rodeo program, and some of these aforementioned things are present, they're not overbearing in the least, or more present than any other sort of activity, culture, etc. Great activities, a wonderful exercise facility. The surrounding city isn't the most exciting place, and concerts aren't common, but if you like the outdoors, and you're okay with going a little further outside of the college, you'll find endless possibilities for things to do. The students and people are smart, friendly, and helpful, unlike most of the out of state students (cough, Californians, cough) who are ruining the University, Town, and State. It's a small town, and you always feel safe.

responseAw, c'mon , not all of us californians are that bad. New Yorkers on the other hand…
responseHey! im from california and im thinking about coming to montana for college, trust me we arent all bad! im from a small semi rural town just like bozeman
responseSo is everyone going to hate me because I'm from California? Because if I wanted to get harassed, I can have that done in my own state and not have to pay the out of state tuition
responseWell, it depends. University itself is good, there are always a lot of interesting activities for students to participate in. Now about education. University hired a lot of old-fashioned thinking professors that give a lot of writing tasks for homework and I do not catch up with each and every assignment which makes me think of how to buy essay and have that boring homework written on behalf of my name not making efforts myself.
