I know Csusb sometimes gets a bad rep for being just the Cal state that noone wants to go to, but I have found it to be a completely great experience. CSUSB has top notch programs such as the nursing program, kinesiology, business and more. The teachers have been great for the most part, really want to make sure you learn, and the students are really friendly. Yes, it is a commuter school, so it can be hard to socialize, but… the school has programs all the time, and most people never even look at the signs to see where and when the programs are! I always go with my friends, to see free movies, get free good, dances, carnivals, etc! There is a pub on campus for all you 21 and over, which you can go to with your friends, the student union is open during the week, and there arent too many fun things around the campus, but I have found lots to do just on University Parkway, and hospitality alone. On University, I go with my friends to eat, there are a few restaurants with bars in them which can be fun, and Inland Center Mall is lkei k5 mins away which has every store known to man! Quite a few people stay on campus, so if you live on campus you will meet lots of new friends. If you are looking for a school where there is always something going on though, this might disapoint you, but for those who want to go out and have fun occasionaly and get a great education i'd recommend this school for you

Bad:

San Bernardino can be a little rough, if you wonder off into the bad neighborhoods, my recoomendation: stay on University Parkway, Northpark, Hosptiality, the areas surrounding all those are great..

Social life for those who do not live on campus, can be grim. but that is for any school
