Lets get a few things straight first. Saint Mike's is a small Catholic, liberal arts school in northern vermont. So that being said don't come here if you want huge parties; it's not a state school so we don't have huge parties like we are at a state school. It is a liberal arts school so get ready for a lot of bullshit classes. For example: in order to graduate you must take two philosophy courses at the 100 and 200 levels, two religious studies courses at the 100 and 200 levels, 2 math/ science courses, a full year of language unless you pas proficient the summer before entrance, as well as many other random and unnecessary courses that we are required to take to create "well rounded young adults." BULL SHIT! Saint Mike's creates clicks naturally because it is the size of most average American high schools and even smaller than some. The student population is made up primarily of Massachusetts students (85%) 14% in state and 1% other. It is all about who you know here and not how intelligent or hardworking you are. So word of advice get in good with particular individuals your freshman year unless you are just coming here to waste $160,000 of Mommy and Daddy's money, and o yeah its that expensive, $39,990 a year and minimal financial aid and those who do receive it receive it on a skewed scale. So word to the weary: THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT YOUR DECISION BECAUSE YOU DON"T WANT TO WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNIOR YEAR AND REALIZE YOU HATE WHERE YOU ARE!
