The schools a joke. Professors don't care if you show up to class. The campus is boring. No social life. You are stuck in no where land. I went here to give college life a try and the orientation sounded great. Got through my 1st semester with good grades and no effort. Weather is depressing. Cops patrol on campus at night to bust you for walking around. If you can get into another State or Junior College, go elsewhere, where your money and time would be better spent. Had some housing problems and the people their don't care you have issues nor want to try to work with you. they just want your money. The campus has a lot of abandoned buildings which could be unsafe. You are isolated from the rest of the world. Feels like prison. You are just stuck if you don't have a car. The town, Seaside is boring. Monterey Bay is for retired people, and not young. Beach life there is too cold. Don't go here if you don't have too. I transferred to SB Community College where there is sun and some fun! I plan to transfer to a UC. Find a campus where you can have a good college experience, you have worked so hard to get out of High School. Go to a college where you can grow as a person and have a good experience.
