There are three kinds of people that i have met so far on campus this year. People who LOVE the school, people who HATE the school, and people who are only here because the school gave them a lot of money to come here.

The campus itself is very pretty, the fall is beautiful with all the leaves changing colors against the brick buildings. The landscaping is well done with lots of grass, trees, and other plants. But it seems as though they put more money and time into the way the school looks rather than spending the money on the students. After all, Tacoma isn't known for its crazy nightlife, so it would be nice if they had more to do for the students besides $1 movies every weekend.

The people are OK. I have met some really cool people, but the majority of them seem to find their niche within the first week of school by clinging to everyone on their hall floor. If your floor is not very close, you better be extra friendly to the people in your classes. Also, i have noticed that the people who play sports tend to stick to the people in their teams. All in all, there are few who are very outgoing.

The nightlife sucks. Sure there are a few cliques who will go out to the barn on the weekends or drink in their rooms, but they are usually the kids who didnt drink in high school and who are not very experienced at it. Of course there is nothing to really do in Tacoma at 1 am so many people are in bed by 2 am on a saturday night.

Its an OK school all in all. If you like to party and have fun on the weekends dont come here. If you dont mind staying in the same place for months on end, come here. I will be transferring next year as well as most of my friends.
