if you plan on using financial aid DO NOT attend this university. It is 5 weeks into the semester and aid is not even certified yet. All other schools have excess in hand to students within 14 days, not GCU. Don;t bother tryig to find out when it will be processed, they will simply tell you another 14 days..maybe. They have installed a new web portal the back office and advisors do not know how to use so it is pointless. Check your NSLDS often of you wish to be accurately reported as a full-time student. Once it changes good luck getting it back.

The course work could be completed by my 7th grader easily and discussion question answers are allowed to be as short as 5 words. If you plan on going on to a masters program…look elsewhere to get prepared.

My advise go elsewhere. GCU has overinflated tuition and disorganized, inefficient and incapable financial aid office that serves no one well. If ou depend on excess aid to meet your prepared to wait as long as two months to get it every semester. Keep track of your own schedule as well. If you allow advisors to schedule you, they are prone to making mistakes in how many hours you need to fulfill your full-time status (especially online)
