This school is sad. First off the return rate here after freshman year is bad for a reason. Only 52% of students come back after their first year here! Honestly that should be enough for you people. The worst part about this school is the social life. I don't know what the faculty thinks college life is but future referrence they need more things to do here. Even if you have friends here (which I do) this college is still boring and hopeless. It is a mission to find something to do here. The meal plans here suck. I got ripped off. They serve the same foods every meal. Breakfast always the same, lunch the same, and every dinner has the same foods. How about some variety please? I can't eat the same foods all the time. The only good thing is breakfast food here. The breakfast is the best part of this college! Lunch and dinner always has cheeseburgers and french fries. I am sick of that! There is no surrounding city or social life here. The nearest towns are miles away and the city life is about 2 hours away. WOW. I really don't see how someone could enjoy this college. Another thing about this school is the teachers and education help. If you want help then don't come here. It is hard to get in contact with the tutors and teachers. The life at campbell has little going for it. I am paying $32,000 for nothing! Seriously what am I paying for? Campus sucks with hardly any good facilities and the school is not prestigous with impressive education. The only reason why this school cost a fortune is because it is a private school! There is no school spirit or unity here at all. Oh yeah and most of the time there is only one cafeteria open. The lack of fun things to do, surrounding city, and school spirit make this college a joke! I am transferring out of this sorry school Probably 90% of the students here go home for the weekend. If you want fun and an interesting college experience don't come to this school. Really this school should just shut down and cease to exist because it stinks like the rear end of a monkey after it has taken a shit. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE LIFE AND COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

commentThis StudentsReview presents misinformation. 71% of first year students return for their second year. I eat regularly at on campus eateries and while there are always certain items available (pizza, burgers, fries, sandwiches), there are always at least distinct lunch and dinner options per day. Anyone who visits the campus can quickly realize it is in a rural setting. Did this student simply apply without ever visiting, or google mapping its location? There are many rural colleges and universities. They cater to students seeking a rural college or university. A student who enrolls without researching a school has only him/herself to blame. Almost all faculty have their daily schedules and posted office hours outside their office doors. Yet, I regularly see students come to faculty offices without appointments, and without even checking the posted schedule get frustrated when the professor is not there. Their job entails more than just teaching and students who expect professors to simply be sitting in their offices all day are naive. Campbell's overall cost ranks them 21st of the 34 private colleges and universities in NC. That means 20 (a majority) of NC private colleges and universities are more expensive than Campbell. Tuition is less than $22,000 per year - less than average. The average institutional aid package per student is over $9700k, which means the AVERAGE student pays ~$12,000 per year in tuition. This student indicates he/she is "bright", but truly bright students are awarded grants and scholarships. If she is truly paying full retail price of attending, he/she is certainly not bright (by traditional evaluation of standardized test scores and grade point average)
questionAre there any parties whatsoever?
commentHi people I am the one who made this post. I have transferred and could not be happier to be away from campbell. I came back here because I was interested if there were in more post about campbell. First off to answer your question no there are not any parties at campbell. Do not go here save yourself the money. Now this other person above says I have misrepresented Campbell University. How? I will show everyone how this person is the one misrepresenting. I honestly gave a review about Campbell and this person being a lover of campbell tries to dodge the issues about this school and make it look like I made stuff up. First off this person said 71% come back after their first year. This people is a complete lie. Dude if you looked at the graph on the StudentsReviews it says 50% would come back and 50% would NOT come back after their first year. Yeah it has actually gotten worse since I left. lol! This person says I am not bright well this dude can't even read a graph. Next this person said there are always distinct lunch items per day. Uh not really dude. Lets look at this now. There is always pizza, burgers, fries, and sandwiches. Now as for the distinct items well there is not that much of a difference. For instance monday we will have chicken tuesday chicken eggs and dumplings wednesday pasta thursday chicken again and friday pasta again. People they had the same "distinct" foods every week just not everyday. Dude that is not distinct at all. So yeah they have the same foods at campbell. Hardly any variety at all. Next this person asks did this student apply without visiting the campus at all? Everyone I came to freshman orientation and visited the campus another time during the summer. Also I looked on the school website a lot. Seriously people I never knew it would be so boring. Dude there are others giving the same reviews about this school so it must be true right? Yes as you all can see I researched the school before coming. Campbell did a good job making their school look good I will give them that. I have heard of rural schools but this one has no life at all surrounding it not even on the campus. No I do not expect the teachers to be sitting all day in their office. I am talking about the tutors mainly. You call them make an appointment then they cancel or change the time constantly. Then you go down to the student center for help then they say sorry no tutors in today. SUCKS. A lot of them don't even pick up their phones. Another thing this person does is misrepresent the cost of this school. Dude this school is one of the most expensive private schools in North Carolina. Uh yeah I did get some scholarship money but still even with that the school is still a fortune. Retard the average student does not pay $12,000 a year in tuition. Total lie. I have a 3.2 GPA in college and the school is a fortune. Everyone complains about the cost of campbell so to try to down play the cost like this guy is just pathetic. Does this guy suck gaylord the mascot's cock? This person just loves campbell. If you actually look on the website all the cost of this school equals to about $34,000 a year. The average student at campbell is not even that smart. How could they get that much money in scholarships? The average student at almost any college is not smart enough to get that kind of money. Besides I looked and it said about 1,200 get scholarship money. 1,200 out of like 8,000 is not that much stupid. And how many out of that 1,200 including me got to pay that 12,000 a year in tuition? Probably very few. So to say the average student at campbell pays $12,000 a year in tuition is a complete lie and a pathetic attempt to make campbell look good. Also people you have to remember to count up the room and board. Also don't forget the books, supplies, and transportation. Unlike this idiot you have to take everything into the school price. This school is a private school and is super expensive whether this person likes it or not.
