Johnson State is an awesome place.

The students are all incredibly friendly, and all anyone wants to do is have a good time with as many people as possible. The campus is beautiful and the workload is generally easy, though depending on the department can be very challenging. there are plenty of clubs and organizations that offer trips and activities. We have a rock wall, a snowboard park, an 18 hole frisbee golf course, a mac lab with a great digital media department, and a movie theater all on campus. Great place for art students!

The social life is what you make it, JSC is like a big family, everyone knows everyone, so you make really close relationships, and for most part everyone just wants party and have a good time. There are parties every weekend but only huge raging parties once in a while, but damn are they fun.

If you live on campus you usually spend alot of the weekend partying in the dorms, which is incredibly easy: students can walk room to room and find a bunch people playing drinking games or having smoke sessions (all in the dorms). Basically, JSc is one laid back free for all.

If you get bored on campus, there is a free shuttle bus on the weekends that brings students back and forth to Burlington, VT in the Fall, and in the winter runs back and forth to Smuggs, the ski resort just down the road.

If you aren't looking for a big school, and all you want to do is snowboard, party, and make some tight friends, come to Johnson. JSC: Just Straight Chillin!
