Date: Dec 20 2010 Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time) For UMSL business majors, they will be challenged with projects, papers, group work, and tests in every class. It requires great planning skills, which I had to gain throughout my college career. Professors are compassionate and will help you, but much like the real world, will not take excuses. This forces you to step up your game and produce work on-time and at a high level. Your grades will directly reflect the effort you put into the classes. This isn't private school where you will get an A or B because mommy and daddy are paying $40,000/year. UMSL has a great reputation throughout the St. Louis community and because it has nearly 80,000 alumni, with 80% in the area, you will come across other alumni in professional settings. It's great when the person interviewing you graduated from the same program and school you did.
