Eastern Washington University is in the middle of nowhere.

There's not much to do unless you like to party all the time. There is free bus transportation to Spokane which is really nice. The closest mall (which is located in Spokane) is called North Town but there's not much stores to shop at. Most students that come here are from Washington so a lot of people know each other from their old high schools/hometown. Don't bother coming here if you're from California, Hawaii or any other state especially if you're not use to so much snow and the cold. I'm not from Washington, but my roommate is and she cannot stand the weather here. We get so much snow and it's freezing!

The dorm life is pretty alright. People are friendly and approachable. The food is okay but it get's tiring after a while. The Roost offers some good food. Tawanka has a buffet but many of the students complain about feeling sick after eating there. Their brunch is amazing though! You can make your own waffles and everything.

Class wise.. is alright. It really depends who your professor is. My academic advisor did not really help me choose my classes well and I was highly upset. Don't rely on your advisor to help you choose good classes. You might as well go to to help choose your classes/professors for you. It also helps if you ask other students what classes to take.

There really isn't much to do in EWU since it's located in the middle of nowhere. There's no good places to eat at or shop at. Many of the people that go here only come here because its away from their home town and they got accepted. It's really boring and I wish I went to another college. Many of the people I know that go here complain about it…

But then again.. it does have its ups and downs..
