Date: May 09 2011 Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time) I have some great memories from VWC. Great friendships that I still have, and one professional friendship with a former professor. VWC did remind me somewhat of high school. They work hard to keep the students involved in events hosted by students on campus, many are cheesy, however others are actually pretty fun.Bottomline is COLLEGE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! If you stay in your room the majority of the time, or if you commute and only go to class then home, you won't enjoy it! It's not a perfect college, but they work hard to keep their student body pleased. If I were to do it over again, I'd choose VWC. However, I'd steer clear of Recreation and Leisure Studies as a major. To be honest, I chose it because it sounded fun and easy. What I didn't realize is that I limited my options for jobs/careers, and now have no choice but to go for my Masters in a different field as many others did in the major. Friends of mine have gone onto Occupational Therapy and even police officers. Be wise!
