The city surrounding the university is slowly becoming more of a college town. Campus safety is amazing, and despite being located in "Murdertown" I feel EXTREMELY safe almost always on campus. Straying off campus is another story, but that's expected.

Many of the professors are very approachable, and some are pretty arrogant. I personally LOVE the arrogance and the

don't take anyone's crap
attitude, but some dislike it.

I find there to be ZERO if ANY busywork in my classes, and I actually kind of wish there was some more… just for the sake of getting more points. Most of the points in all of my classes are from solely exams, which can be bad news if you happen to not do so well on even just one of the three or four exams in the class.

Social life could be better, but it's there if you look for it. The Greek scene is expanding each year, and there are lots of bars/clubs around that do anything to get college students to come (and it works!). I find the student body to be very accepting, and that's likely due to how diverse the campus is (we've got students from 40+ countries and TONS of different backgrounds).
