This college is a joke. It is run down, the city is just a super boring town. Most of the kids that go here are hicks and most have lived in Winona all their life. I've talked to quite a few people that had this as their 'fall back school'. Also, the food is just plain awful. At first, I was worried about the freshman 15, but the food is not tasteful at all and it's seems like you're eating the same food all the time. The only way to have fun here is to get drunk every night. And trust me, this gets old very quickly. The only thing Winona has going for them is that the trees are beautiful in the fall. Their laptop program seems appealing at first, but then they hit you with a $1,000 charge at the end of the year to use it. This will amount to about a $4,000 laptop by the time you graduate. This was a somewhat cheaper college and I now know why. I would avoid this college at all costs.
