Emory is a great school if you are from a small town or grew up going to small schools. However, I came from a big city and a high school with 3 times as many students as Emory. The campus is beautiful and the people here are mostly great, but there is absolutely nothing to do on weekends except drink in dorm rooms. Most students live within an hour from school and go home on weekends so the campus turns into a ghost town. E&H also requires almost all the students to live on campus in dorms (unless your parents are really convincing or you have a great BS excuse) even up through your senior year. Most of the people here are on some sort of scholarship but do not let that be the reason you come here! The professors are great and the sororities are a blast if you find the right one for you, but unless you are in one, there is NO social scene.
