Hope College is a great place to be! The community around Holland is great and nothing beats walking a block to get to the downtown shops and restaurants and its just a ten minute drive to the beach. Everyone around campus is very nice and willing to help, from students to staff. One of my favorite things is that you really do not just feel like a number. Each professor really cares about how you are doing inside and outside of class and will know your name. The worst things about Hope are the lack of parking (although it is getting better) and the winters. If you can handle that, you will love Hope as much as everyone else. The sciences are the most competitive program here and the liberal arts education is top notch, even though it sometimes gets annoying with the amount of gen eds you need.
