Hope College students are predominately white, conservative, and Christian with little exposure to diversify. There are numerous ways to get involved on campus IF you fit this specific mold. If you are not a practicing Christian, you will feel out of place both in and out of the classroom and you will be judged for it. Religion and faith is openly discussed and brought up all the time in class. If you are looking for a party school, Hope is not the way to go. If you are not involved in Greek life, there's not much partying - maybe 1 or 2 frat parties on the weekends which consists of a dark, dirty basement jam-packed with sweaty people and no alcohol. There is little to do in Holland and as far as going out there are 3 main bars.
