3rd Year Female -- Class 2016

Education Quality: A+, Social Life: C+

This college is fast growing college with plenty of opportunities for the students to grow with it. It is a beautiful campus and my experience here has been great. The cost is great as well. There are a lot of students who are passionate about being a student at GGC and some with just the opposite view. Those with a negative view when you talk to them are not informed about how the school started and have been listening to people who really know nothing about the school. The only reason I am transferring is because I want to live and go to school with a little distance from home. I would like to grow in my independence. I would recommend GGC to anyone.

2nd Year Female -- Class 2015

University Resource Use/ spending: A+, Innovation: C-

This is the newest 4 year public state college in the University System of Georgia. The location of the school is what helped me decide to attend the college. It is located 40 miles north-east of Atlanta in the middle of Gwinnett County. It is a smaller college that is growing quickly. The college opened in 2006 with 118 students and now has a student population of around 8000. Much of the facility has come from well known colleges and schools in the Georgia area. The student receives an education that is taught at the university level, but at the cost of a local college.

If a person is looking for a big name school, GGC may not meet those expectations. If a person is looking for a solid degree with excellent instructors and good value for the dollar, then GGC might be a good fit.Georgia Gwinnett College is accredited by SACS. This is the same group that accredidates many schools, colleges, and universities in the south-eastern United States.
