My experience at Rider was actually very positive. Although as a lot of people have stated on here it is a "suitcase" school but with that being said I was never hurting in finding something to do on the weekends. The social aspect of college really depends on you no matter where you attend. Some people say the students are a bit snobby and I will agree with that but I just found a group of likeminded people and had a great time hanging with them. I found the classes interesting and the professors very interested in teaching. I was a business major so I can not speak about how other professors from other majors were. In the end if you are looking for a mind blowing social experience Rider may not be the school for you but if you are looking for a solid education and are interested in having a little fun along the way I would definitely recommend Rider

I'm a freshmen at Rider and let me tell you this school sucks. First of all it's too small and it's not diverse at all. These people are still in high school. They have a walk of shame for god's sake (if a girl hooks up with a guy). Its college!!! The academics are bad. Theyre easy and dont challenge you at all. Seriously i havent learned anything at all. There are two classes for each course and they are filled so you wont be able to take your requirments until god knows when. There is parties but you have to be careful because if you drink twice in a row your an alcoholic according to rider students. Its like high school here. If you want easy school work and a lot of rich white stuck up kids then come to rider.

“If you came from a very diverse school,Quite Bright
If you came from a very diverse school, Rider isn't the place for you. People here have only been around their own kind for their entire lives, so they are ignorant and close-minded. The work is basically high school level and not challenging in the least. Don't listen to the Dean when he says his "door is always open" because he'll be eager to get away from you, should you ever need his help. Everyone here seems to be the same person in different bodies and they are all very cliquey and desperate to make friends so they don't have to walk around campus alone. It's pathetic. Don't come here. save your money and your time. I can't wait to transfer out at the end of this semester.
